Passport Owner Percentages.
Percentage of people in a country with a passport can be a great indicator if people are travelling abroad. On websites and social media it seems like everyone is travelling regularly. In some countries like Netherlands, Germany and travelling abroad is obviously popular as they have 85% and 88%, respectively passport ownership. While in other countries such as India, Japan and China, few people have a passport. Clearly, something reserved for the wealthy, and not generally part of the culture in a wide range. Surprisingly the U.S. only has 42% percent ownership, a low number considering many people enjoy travel in the U.S.
